  • What color are Cherokee Iron Works Switch Covers?
    Cherokee Switch Covers are naturally rusted cold rolled steel. The colors may vary. Some may be a little darker or lighter than others. After rusting and cutting and forming they are poly coated back and front to stop any further rust.

  • Is the artist (Jerry) really a Cherokee Indian?
    Yes,Jerry is a Registered Cherokee Indian of the "Trail of Tears" lineage. Jerry's Grandmother, Rosie on his father's side (James), was registered in 1903 with her father, Albert and other siblings. Albert is the son of Sarah (Albert was in the Cherokee Confederacy). Sarah - at 12 years old - was put on the Trail of Tears in Georgia with her Mother Juanita and six other children. Sarah's Father - who's last name was Rogers - was murdered for his land by Union Soldiers prior to the "Trail of Tears".
